"Iceythe" is a one-man music project that started in 2008. All tests, ideas and finished products put on this site is from my little project. This page serves the purpose of downloading, listening and feedback generation.
"Iceythe", now officially on the Facebook bandwagon!
The project's main goal is to dish out some of my ideas that I find worthy to upload. Most of the work is metal in various forms, though not limited to it.

Why this name?
Being the solo project I just author it under my nick atm. Through the campaign of internet'ing over the past 10 years, iceythe is the result of an ever-evolving nick. It has no prominent meaning, just catchy in a weird sense.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I only care about the musicians and listeners getting what they deserve.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not too serious about making music for money. I make it for myself and my friends. If other people like it that's a nice bonus, but not a criteria. So, no. I wouldn't sign on anything.
Band History:
Picked up guitar at age of 15, quickly shelved it. Started again when turning 18 and have on/off practicing for myself at nights inconsistently. Not too devoted to practicing, just play whenever I feel like it.
See, my slow progression relate to "not being too serious", "giving a crap" or "I liek pc gaems moar" surrogates the need of pursuing any eventual career.
Priorities.
(In b4 obvious)
Anywho.. the later periods, more specifically (starting of) summer '08 I go on with my very first real recordings - in which this page was created. Just for fun! Maybe I even will get into this band stuff one day.

Your influences?
Many bands I guess.. Nevermore, In Flames style... I've always been a fan of the progressive melodic stuff. Especially those songs which build up tension. Bulb, Chimpspanner, Idoler and all other artists I've +fan on here are of greatest inspiration aswell. Also, older Soilwork, Chimaira, Disarmonia Mundi, Textures, Nightrage, DevilDriver, Killswitch Engage... etc is what metal is for me.
I am also drawn towards certain jazz, electronica and classical compositions. Some composers, like Yoko Kanno, Yoko Shimomura and few other OST artists as well.
