Illuminating out of a cold dark fog in Northern California exists WINTER MONOLITH- WINTER MONOLITH began in the year 2002.It's genre is of its own a genre called "Apocalyptic Metal" . With it's lyrical content dealing with esoteric subject's related to The Apocalypse , Anthropology , Astronomy & Exobiology. All which the basis and the driving force behind its music and lyrical content. The band consist of composer/founder Carl S.
The solo project is currently writing new material for the release of a 3 track E.P. in the near future. COPYRIGHTED 2002-2011

By in visioning Winter as a spiritual entity of power.As a Monolith more or less
Do you play live?
I have solo with the previous project before Winter Monolith under a different name ,but no not with Winter Monolith but looking for Venue's in the Bay Area,Southern Cali or AZ.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It does in two ways it gets the music out . As far as a wide range of listeners, but it also effects it too buy not being able to generate sales due to a rights issue of the music created . Its a win win for the listener but a Win Loss for the Artist to put it simply.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would. It all depends on the distribution, sales and promotion on a major label.
