I'm mostly a one man band recording with Guitartracks Pro. Now and then I record with a friend and that's a good thing.
Why this name?
I have a toon in WOW that has that name. That's all I ever seem to do in that stupid game is run a lot....lol
Do you play live?
I mostly play with my bluegrass buddies outdoors when the weather is good. I don't like being on stage but love sitting in a circle taking turns pick'n songs together. Years ago I was in a ME band playing for a belly dance troop. I played Dumbek and Oud. It scarred me to death. Not the music which I really enjoyed but the women were scarry as hell.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
for the better. Napster forever !! (i wish)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
that's not going to happen anytime soon LOL.......I'm running outa time :)
Band History:
My first experience in a band was in 1990 when a bunch of friends and I started jamming in a garage bluz band. We were loud and full of energy and people would drop in to hear the chaos or stand in. I meet a lot of cool people and made great friends. I still play with some of them today but only the clean and sober.
Your influences?
I'm stuck in the 60's. I like to cover the older tunes. Once in a great while an original song pops outa me.
Favorite spot?
usually right where I'm at and that's usually Wenatchee
Equipment used:
Acoustic but I have all the bells and whistles collecting dust. Washburn HB-35, Washburn Acoustic/Electric, 12 string, Oud, "67 Fender Amp (tubes Baby!)
Anything else...?
I have composed three original tunes so far. I don't know if I have another in me but you never know.
