My band is in hiatus

I think the implementation of independent music with the internet, and the affordability of the recording studio, gave alot of talented people a medium through which to showcase their music without dealing with the b.s. of the mainstream music industry.

Only if it were under my terms and I felt it was the best move at the time.

My influences vary. Hip hop wise it's first and foremost DJ Premier (who I secretly studied under while working at the world famous D&D Studios now known as Headcorters). Then in a three way tie for second I think comes Alchemist, Black Milk and J Dilla. This kid Nottz had me in the lab for about a month heavy when I heard the intro joint to Busta's E.L.E.

My favorite spot where I go to to get inspiration from is in the studio with a bunch of records.
