A small town young man with a burning passion and a message...
Why this name?
It justed sounded right.
Do you play live?
I don't usually play very many lives shows, as I don't have a back-up band, and I don't have enough money to hire a booking agent or a manager.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a wonderful for music. It helps bring undiscovered talent as well as well-known musicians into the spotlight and to the consumer with ease. More and more independent artists can get their music to more people and help make their music be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
With the way the record companies are slowly crumbling, probably not.
Band History:
Radio Seanovan started out as a small acoustic project up in my bedroom about three years ago (around Easter 2005 to be exact). I began recording a batch of 15 crappy acoustic demos on a simple Sony MiniDisc recorder and cheap microphone. The demos were not very good quality and some of them skipped, but they were there for referential purposes. A couple of years later, I received my first MacBook computer and, a little bit later, I bought a cheap $25 microphone and an iMic system to hook up to my computer. With that, I started recording some of the acoustic and full-band demos. Over the summer of 2008, after purchasing a Blue SnowBall mic and Toneport GX, I went back and re-recorded most of my songs up to this point, and after some mixing and editing, I should have more songs up shortly. Also, I am currently in the process of writing a concept album with details coming soon.
Your influences?
Foo Fighters, Barenaked Ladies, Incubus, Muse, The Beatles, Living Chivalry, The Raconteurs, Weezer. Generally, mixing these influences together makes a pop-rock/alternative/acoustic sound with some blues and progressive influences.
Favorite spot?
Niagara Falls, Canada. The New York side is kind of crappy.

Dean FM Exotica Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Ibanez JTK2, Fender Mexican Stratocaster, Squier Standard Stratocaster, Silvertone LB11 Bass, Line 6 Spider Amp, Line 6 Toneport, Greg Bennett Mandolin, Blue Snowball Mic
