NEWS   "Despite this one-man band's name -- one would assume it's a headbanger, no? -- [The song New York] is a minimalist, beat-driven instrumental. Nice, mellow tension." – SFGATE.COM

Hesh One cuts hint at Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, Dub and Jazz influences which make them palatable while minimal treatments and abstract instrumentation keep them far from mainstream. Don't look for improvisational noodling, heavenly melodies or self-indulgent soloing – the music is as cold and calculated as it's creator.
Why this name?
Hesh One was the tagging name that he used in the early '90s. In 1994 he stopped writing his name on walls in favor of writing his name on Compact Discs and cassettes.
Do you play live?
No, I don't play live. I don't like social interaction. Performing in front of a crowd would be the opposite of what I want to do.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. Baby needs a new pair of shoes!
