The Northern California East Bay has been the home and the beginning of some of the most successful metal bands of all time. Yet, for some time there hasn't been a band that has quite captured the essence of what the term “metal” means. Since beginning in 2004, the band Falling to Pieces has been breaking the trend of the “garage band” stereotypes and moving up into the limelight as one of the most popular metal bands to hit the Nor-Cal scene. Comprised of the late bands Fellatia and Starch, this band has the makings to redefine the sound of metal and to capture audiences with it's unique blend of thrashy, melody laden, harmonic groove based structures. After releasing their 2004 “The E.P. to Kill By”, to much online and critical acclaim, the band began working on their first full length album entitled,” Left To Rust”. This album was released in 2007 and has won fans over with some of the most brutal and thought provoking material the Bay Area scene has heard in a long time. After parting ways with long time singer Jason Lewis, Falling to Pieces would finalize the line-up with the addition of female vocalist Nicci DeSoto (Formerly from "Enemy of Life") in 2008. With hundreds of live performances under their belts, and sharing the stage with some of the best national acts, this five piece never disappoints.
