Every few years, a dynasty rises from a city to make their mark on the hip hop world. The city is D.C., the dynasty is Dark Alley and the time is now.
Why this name?
Growing up as teenagers, we all hung out in this alley around Uptown NW where we were doing things we shouldn't have been. Those days taught us a lot though. Good or bad, its made us who we are today.
Do you play live?
We think that our stage performance is one of the best things about our group. There arent many acts out their that can match our energy and enthusiasm.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its given alot of independent artist an avenue to have their music heard and even to make some cash.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definitely. As long as they wouldnt make us change up our style.
