I
Why this name?
Because it fits me. Don't you think so? Naw but, really because I like Diamonds and my favorite color black. So I choose the name Diamond BlaQ.
Do you play live?
Yeah I would love to play live, But, I haven't yet. I've only competed in rap battles and competitions.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes music easier to access.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah sure, If the paper work is right. I
ll even sign to an indie lable to tell the truth.
Band History:
Diamond BlaQ actually found her talent when she was 8 years old, when one of her Best friends, J.R., and her were play rapping in his room on his karaoke machine to a John Cena Beat. She really didn't understand what she was saying but, she already had the concept and the rhythm. Basicly, she was a natural. Later on she formed a group with her sister, Ices , who was the singer and her god brother, Lil D, who was another rapper. As you can see it didn't work out. So while spending alone time while working on her raps she started getting better and advanced in her her writing and Freestyle skills. Her uncle then began to take her to other neighborhoods to battle others and guess what? She never lost a battle. Later on she started to make beats. Thanks to her God brother who gave her the software and eventually fate brought them back together to form a Indie Record Lable named Black Mob Entertainment, which consist of 2 producers and 2 rappers.
