Why this name?
Some folks have a Yellow Heel and others a Yellow-Wheel. It depends on the level of the dyslexic atmosphere in which you preside...
Do you play live?
"Rising from the Dead - with Stratocasters" and a PRS thrown in occasionally ...is never easy... though it seem we've been Rising from the Dead - alot lately..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Things always change... or as our Brother Jimmy use to say "Castles built on sand.. fall in the Sea.. eventually.."
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the people...
Band History:
We at the "Yellowheel" come from a large variety of backgrounds.
Most of us are graduates of the "Ancient of Days" School of "Higher Burning".
And we have been graced with a number of talented Brothers and Sisters who drop in from time to time .. and take part in the gift of Creation... and they include:
Dave Barnhart, Howard Cloud, Geno Rameriz, George Darby, Dolly Hazard, Jen Jolly, Allan Edgar and Joseph Natale with some exceptional drum tracks...

Your influences?
Danny Horton and Deadwater Monk.... Dire Straights ...the Beau Brummel's ....Holst... Bo Didly, Dire Straights, Bob Welsh ...Burl Ives .. Holst..
Blue Agave Tequila... the Peyote Bird ... Better living through proper Chemistry .. The Who...John Lennon ...Preston Monongye .... Camel Straights ....

As they say out here in the Old West; after about three or four Margaritas...

description
Mother Reivers creates the mystical World of the Yellow Wheel .. as inspired by Danny Hortons' great song... a place we all have know. A place where we are 'Standing Alone'.
Music
They say "It's in the Wind". But like most folks, I wasn't listening.
For the Time Has Come... to Rise Up and Take Back that which is Yours...
Sometimes Love is Blind. Among other things...
'Cause the Lord never works on Fridays...
Some folks are just older than dirt.. pretty much from the day they are born. That's why Methusela is just all about the BLUE

Wonderful tune, such an organic purity to the groove and textures. This is as fine as it gets, anywhere. Absolutely love the sax and keys, and that distinctive vocal work, a joy to take in. So much substance.....congratulations, this is extremely special.

I'm sitting here in the dark of nite as it gently rains right outside the window beside me, I'm enjoying the earthly smells and enjoying a few soulful moments before I leave to begin my niteshift...this funky...sweet...jazzy bluesy tune is wafting from the speakers...talk about loveliness
EVERYTHING about this song is wonderful! Love the guitars...sax, keyboard, harp playing and the vocal is the perfect fit! Very nice mix and performance....5 stars...2 thumbs up....10 fingers and toes....givin' it all I got captain!
