I have been lead vocalist/keyboardist and songwriter with UK bands which include Voyager, Tonton Macoute, Latin Electrica and Windmill. I have recently completed my first solo album entitled Pieces Of Fate and am now working on an album of Classical pieces called 10 English Castles.
Do you play live?
I have had regular slots at Piano Kensington, London for the past 4 years and still love to play there. The atmosphere is always exciting and it's great to work for boss Bazz Norton, himself a pianist/vocalist.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
One no longer relies upon the tastes of a handful of A&R people in order to be heard
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. They are still the biggest publicity machines
