Whats up everybody,

I am Keezy, checkin' in with Sound Click with my new page. Hailing from South Central Los Angeles, im not like everybody else from South Central. Normally, when you hear an artist from Los Angeles, you would expect a full gangsta rap appeal. Growing up, my grandmother told me one thing that I will never forget and that is to "Do What Makes Me Happy"...

As long as my face produces a smile, my life is wonderful. I posses the power to never internally age. From the things I like to do, to what I watch on television, to what I wear daily, constantly boggles the minds of people, they just wonder why im doing what im doing.

With that being said, my music is half breed, half gangsta/real rap and half my own world.. I like to make new and different things, im really inspired by Pharrell Williams and how he creates his craft.

The duo is Smokin' Keyz, my younger brother and I, we are the new mad scientists on the West Coast. Our beats range from the bottom of Cali to the top of Cali.

Smokin' Keyz, Get with us.....
Why this name?
I came up with the name, "Smokin' Keyz", with our last names both being Keys and our beats, music, and style being so hot (in our mind, its a lot of haters)....
Do you play live?
I have done shows everywhere in my immediate area, currently, there is a few new spots being opened up, which I will be doing shows.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes everything, but makes it harder and easier...

Harder: Because everyone can hear you! Jockers are everywhere, and will try and do the same thing that you are doing once they hear you.

Better: Major and Independent labels hear it, artists hear it and sometimes sign myspace artists. Being able to put your music all over the internet has been a real blessing to all underground rappers.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, indeed. If I had the chance to look over a contract and get signed by a major label, if everything looked good, then yes I would.

But I would sign with an Independent label too......
Your influences?
Our influences are 2pac (taught me through music to be and stay real, no gimmicks), Outkast, The Neptunes & Snoop Dogg.
Favorite spot?
My favorite city is Ontario, California...The I.E. and Fontana....I love it out there...
