How ya'll doin? My name is Josh Thompson. I've been playing, writing, and singing for 15 plus years. I'm country. That's all that I've ever done. My music is simple everyday life. I hope you can relate to it.
Why this name?
It's my name. Not much of a choice.
Do you play live?
I play live anytime that I can. Been in several bars, but I really enjoy playing at parties, events for friends. I LOVE playing live. That is where you connect with your fans.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has changed the music industry greatly. It's an avenue that 10 years ago was not a way to get your music out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely. Thats why I do what I do.
Your influences?
My influences are Merle Haggard, George Jones, Lynard Skynard, George Strait, and many other genres of music. I love blues, gospel, rock, just about anything.
Favorite spot?
My favorite place to be would be Colorado.
