I'm a solo Independent Recording Artist from Michigan. My husband Cheyene writes some songs for our albums in which I sing, write, and play keyboard, as well as create different genres of music. I love to explore into new sounds and create melodies. I started off as a songwriter in 1998 for Amerecord Records in Hollywood, California and Hilltop Records in 1999-2001. In 2003 I became a member with cdbaby.com in which I have thirteen albums and seven are on national digital distribution nation wide. I'm also at digitalrodeo.com and mtv.com as Trisha. I'm an author with PublishAmerica, PublishCanada, for by books called Puzzles Of life, Mysteries Of Life's Sufferings, and Breed Of Poison. My husband Cheyene is also an author with PublishAmerica, PublishCanada, for the books called Hearts In Alabama, Best Loved Poems Of Alabama, and Poems Of Whispering Hopes Of American Sunrises and Sunsets Upon These Lands, sold at Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com, Target, Books-A-Million, Waldens book stores, buy.com, Sears, and many more book stores around the world. My husband and I have won awards as poets and have some of our poems published in Anthologies. We spend many hours writing books and songs for music. We do alot of promoting. We thanks God for all he's done and about to do for our careers in the near future. I know it was a hard road, but we love creating lyrics to put into music and hope everyone will love our songs as well. Keep posted and we wish everyone to be blessed in all they seek and do. We thank all our fans for buying our books and music.
Why this name?
I decided to change my band name to Trisha Blue Water for the reasons is a personal love for my state in which I was born. Michigan is surrounded by blue water so beautiful, all the way to the Upper Pennisula.
Do you play live?
It depends on where and when but yes, I would consider that! The special moments growing up was, and I smile at remembrance of me and my sister performing for friends and family as children, singing our childhood songs for them.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I love technology because it is a faster way for artist to be heard by professionals and fans around the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
depends on the label
Favorite spot?
I love my home Michigan, California, New York, The southern mountains, most of the south, New Jersey, Texas and to many others to mention.
Equipment used:
Organ and Keyboard and I played a couple songs experimenting with guitar by ear.
