I've been playing guitar, bass and drums for about 25 years. I started writing songs a few years ago. I'm working on my first CD and hope to have it finished by late-summer 2002. Then, I will put a little band together to play around town and hopefully sell a few CD's...
Why this name?
Just my name, nothing fancy.
Do you play live?
I played in a working country band in Dallas for many years until my job took me away from the band (but into the heart of the blues in Austin). Since moving, I just play at jam sessions and songwriter showcases occasionally. More live stuff to come soon I hope.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is alot of fun and I am glad to be a part of it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't really think anyone would ask.
Band History:
I was the lead singer, lead guitar player in a Dallas-based country band called The Last Outlaws for many years. One of my original songs (Messin' With The IRS) that was recorded when I was with The Last Outlaws is in the country charts on this site. This song was played several times on an Americana station in Dallas for a while (at tax time), which was cool...We also played the VFW and American Legion circuit around Dallas and even ventured into Oklahoma a few times..That's about it
Your influences?
Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Stray Cats

Anywhere in Texas
