I produce music under a few names. Now this soundclick page is up and running, it means I can spend time and money on recording in studios and have a chance of re-couping some of it. This makes MORE recordings possible.
Why this name?
Began with an 2A". I just wanted something alphabetically prominent.
Do you play live?
I play live about 20 hours a week, 60% of each year. Enjoy it? Mostly. It's my job!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows someone to record something, perhaps at home (to probably a pretty high quality) and make it available without messing around with the production of CDs, Vinyl etc. and organising the distribution. I don't have to find another 10 songs to fill a CD based around one song.
It makes it possible for works to become available for consumption more quickly but, like the old fashioned A&R departments, there's an awful lot of stuff available for download or fighting for listeners' attention that wouldn't ever get released by a record company. The record companies produced some rubbish but on the whole, acted as a quailit filter.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it made business sense. I've been offered record and publishing deals but turned them down. I looked at the percentages, worked out how many records I'd need to sell to be able to run a car, buy a house and realised the deal was idiotic.
Band History:
Too much history. I was a singing professional drummer for 8 years, play guitar, harmonica and piano so I tend to work mainly alone.
Your influences?
The Doobie Brothers, Earth, Wind & Fire, Pizzicato Five, narada Michael Walden, Light of the World.
Favorite spot?
Marseilles
