We were thinking of random names and we had been throwing the word "dome" around, and we came up with "Get Dome"

We don't play live anymore, but maybe someday. We played live once, but due to many complications and problems on our part, it didn't work out. We were unprepared and had just finished writing the tracks a day before.

It makes it better for musicians, yet harder for those who are in it to make a living.

Mark, James, and I had formed a band with our friends Jon and Bryan called We Stand Accused, which we put together to play a talent show. During our downtime however, the three of us would jam and make music. One night would playing with my software, I wrote a demo length amount of tracks under the name Get Dome. Mark and James came over to my house, and we did vocals. The rest is history. - Chris

The biggest influences came from goofy bands we liked, such as HORSE the band and The Fall of Troy, and metal bands like Winds of Plague. Though essentially, the band sounds nothing like any of these bands.

Mark played an LTD guitar, and the mic we use(d) is a Shure computer mic my friend Eric loaned me. Software-wise, we use Guitar Pro 5, FL Studios 7, Audacity, and Mixcraft 4.
