Mystic is basically a one-man project, except for the vocals that will be handled by two guest singers. Mystic has tons of ideas and sketches, and will finalise these into a demo in due course of 2011/2012. Mystic combines influences mostly from metal, progressive rock and jazz. Guitars are real; bass, keyboards, drums and other instruments are programmed or played (sometimes through a MIDI guitar-synthesizer).
Why this name?
Anyone can talk to God, a mystic is someone who expects God to talk back.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Less sales, less money for rip-off labels and ditto artists, but also less money for honest labels and ditto artists.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No.
Your influences?
Fates Warning, Allan Holdsworth, Meshuggah, Cynic.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere.

Anything else...?
These are all rough sketches (to get the compositions out of my head). I will record the guitar tracks tightly this year and then see if I can mix and pre-master it to make it sound good.
