OOTB - Out of the Blue - is a ministry based band, we play original contemporary christian music.
Why this name?
It was the title from one of our first songs.
Do you play live?
We've played at churches, fairs and festivals all over the Erie, PA area. We've been one of the finalists for the last three years in the KingdomBound Talent Search Contest and in 2003 won first place in The Erie Festival of the Arts song contest with the song "My Hometown"
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has definitely opened up avenues for unsigned artists to share their music to a wider audience. I hope it continues to give more power to the creators and performers of the music and less to the labels. It allows the ministry aspect of what we do become more real and less comercial.
