This music project is known as Rain Matrix. The emcee is me, Chad Burke. I am a free thinker and an artist in more then one respect. I know that words can be forever and I believe the ultimate test is writing lyrics that can stand up to the tests of time. When it comes to rhymes I say: "may the real last forever and the fake die fast". By that I mean if your not keeping it one hundred then your not 100% hip hop.
Why this name?
There are many matrix's. Our own personal thoughts. The actions of the world around us. Evils interwoven deceptions and illusions. I make music so real that it makes it rains truth. To me truth is represents the rain inside the matrix. Therefore my music project was appropriately named Rain Matrix
Do you play live?
I'm down to freestyle, battle rap and perform my songs or do an open mic show.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The file format made music downloads what they are and made it much easier for the to be transported from device to device seamlessly
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd sign with anybody down with Rain Matrix as an emcee.
Band History:
I heard hip hop and loved hip hop and now I make hip hop and love it even more
Your influences?
I've been influenced by the real in this world and the fake in this world and I've decided that being fake just isn't worth it
Favorite spot?
My home is in Ticonderoga, in the adirondack mountians of New York
