I am a solo musician who plays guitar, drums and bass, and collaborates with a lot of other musicians whenever I get the chance.
I've been playing for 28 years and have my own band named Sinister Force.
I mostly do recording at home now for my band, all the other bands I've been in, and friends bands.

Why this name?

Sinister Force - Richard Nixon denying involvement with the Watergate break-ins said "Some sinister force was involved, but not me..."
LurchyMusic - Lurchy is my nickname... Stuck with me since the first time in college...

Do you play live?

I've been playing live for more than 28 years in the NYC metro area, and still going strong...

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It allows we, as musicians through the internet, to promote and control our own music as much as we want and need, and allows us to reach a much greater audience without falling victim to the established music industry, as so many others have before us...

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Only if I were in complete control of my music...

Band History:

I started my own band called Sinister Force back in 1986 and had a lot of fun...
I now play and record my own music independently and I'm working on a complete album of solo material...
I also play in several local original and cover bands...

Everything from The Police to Black Sabbath...
Judas Preist, Iron Maiden, Rush, The Doors, Yes, Satriani, Deep Purple...
yadda yadda yadda....

I have a wide range of tastes and therefore styles,
So, I mainly gravitate towards Heavy Metal...
