THA EMCEE



I found Amon-Re in the old tattered pages of my tenth

grade World History textbook, there was something special about Amon-Re

that spoke to me. It had an over powering, almost magical energy that i

could not deny. So I immediately adopted Amon-Re as my rap persona. Up

until that point I was Basically a nameless emcee. I was 'Tha Bum'. I was

even 'Anonymous at one point. But when I saw Amon -Re, I knew I had

found my idenity




I plan to make the world feel what I felt everytime

they hear or see the name Amon-Re.I will never claim to be the greatest of

all time.I do not believe that there can be one definitive G.O.A.T, though LL

claims the title. I feel there have been many greats. Many who have had

their light shine, some brighter than others but they shine togeher. That's

why people always name their top five emcees or top ten. I beleive that

people want variety. My plan with my music is to be one of those lights

shining with the rest of the stars, that's all. SEE U IN THA SKY..........LORD

WILLING!!!

EGYPTIAN GOD





Amon-Re is a god from egyptian mythology mostly

known as the sun god. Because of his obscurity he was called a name that

meant "the hidden" by Egyptian in the Old Kingdom.,br>



Amon first came to prominence about 2050 B.C.

during the Theben reign in the middle Kingdom. He was often associtaed with

the ram (which represented fertility). Amon once disguised himself in the

head and skin of a ram. Once he had shown himself to the word in this

disguise rams were sacred to him. The soul of Amon is thought to be

enshrined in a ram sphinx. As the Theben princes power crew so did Amons.

He bacame solarised and was henceforth Amon-Re.




During the New Kingdom Amon-re became known

as "king of the gods". Dominion over a great empire led to the concept of

Amon-Re as Greatest of all the gods. the universal 'Lord of the Throne of the

World'. Amon -Re was also a popular god, whose worship among the humble

people was universal and personal. He was called the vizier of the poor,

incorruptible and anxious to see that the just attained their rightful deserts

and that the weak protected against the strong.

I RENTED THIS BUILDING WITH THREE FRIEND OF MINE AND THE SHOW WILL BE AUGUST 23, 2008 7-10 PM @ THE FOUNDATION CENTER ON THE ISOTHERMAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE CAMPUS I AM EXCITED AND HOPE WE PACK THE HOUSE OUT .TICKETS ARE $10 IN ADVANCE & $12 AT THE DOOR NIGHT OF THE SHOW.

THE INTERNET HAS CHANGED THE MUSIC INDUSTRY SO PROFOUNDLY THAT I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO NAME EVEYTHING.IT HAS MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC FOR FREE WHICH THEY OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE BOUGHT AT A STORE. NOT TO EXCLUDE ITUNES, AND OTHER SITE LIKE IT WHICH ONLY MAKE UP ABOUT 10% OF THE MARKET BUT IT IS THERE. BUT FOR THE INDEPENDENT ARTIST THE INTERNET IS A GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING . IF YOU BUILD A LOYAL FAN BASE YOU CAN DO GOOD . ALONG WITH ALOT OF PERFORMING. IF YOU LOOK AT THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU AND PUT THEM TO WORK YOU COULD START A REAL BUSINESS. I now have access to millions of fans /customers how ever you see it. We want fans to love our music so that we can make money. I know that my dream is to make a living off my music, atleast a decent living. the only way to do that is by people buying my music, but you have to take the loses to get to the wins in life and music.

i am not too confident in the effectiveness of a record label. if i had a dance out maybe i might have a chance but the music doesn't always speak for it self. Maybe i will start my own record label.
