Why this name?
I am the third "Charles" in my family. My Dad being a junior and his Dad the senior. So the family had always called me "Little Charlie." When I perfom and "Little Charlie" is announced it helps me realize my heritage, keeps my feet on the ground, and gives me a dose of confidence in myself through hearing that family term of endearment.
Do you play live?
I have regular weekly gigs in Jackson,Mississippi. I also am active in the Farish Street Historic District Restoration Project and perform weekly at a noon time gig at Peaches' Cafe on Farish Street in downtown Jackson,MS. . I have also performed live on Beale Street in Memphis,TN. I have also done professional studio recording and got some radio play air time of that song "Homeless Street People" while living in Prescott,Arizona. Those are a few on my special moments.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It vastly improves propagation of one's artistic accomplishments. Provides for nearly instantaneous feedback.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe if it was a blues label like "Fat Possum" or "Blind Pig"
Band History:
I am 58 years old. Playing guitar since 1970. Focused on Blues in 1971 and have never looked back or had any regrets that I "choose the blues"

Favorite spot?
Mississippi delta for it's Blues heritage. The moutain scenery in the western
states.

Yamaha APX-7A acoustic-electric guitar - Rogue style-O brass body resonator guitar - Behringer Ultracoustic ACX 900 combo acoustic amp - Behringer UB802 mixer - SM58 vocal stage mic - MXL 990 studio condenser mic for home studio use - (2) ART vacuum tube mic pre-amps. Various cables , stands, etc
