Why this name?
Anti-Mass Group is an ironic name. It is more of a solo project than a group. I invite guests to perform in my songs. "Anti-Mass" meaning light and hollow is a good way of describing the solo group.
Do you play live?
No plans on playing live.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nah. I make songs for fun.
Band History:
In the summer of 2007 my girlfriend, Elena, and I left our former group 'Shattered Sun' due to some internal conflicts. We both took a break from band businesses until winter 2007. Elena and I began to write songs for both bass and guitar.
By early 2008, my friend Dom asked me if I wanted to get together with him to form a group. He was in charge of percussion and synthesizers. I invited Elena to play bass with us. Our new nameless band started off but became too stressing and complicated later on. The group split but sometimes comes together to feed ideas.
I kept the project going. I still wanted to produce songs, but I needed more instruments. Sometimes I ask Elena, Dom, or others to give me some of their original stuff. Soon I decided to call my project 'Anti-Mass Group' which is ironic since the "group" is just me. It's still a group because I get aid from others.
The first album A-MG Phase I is being developed. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of 2008. If you are a musician, and interested in submiting me your ideas, contact me. Credit will be given. Thanks.
Your influences?
