Identity Crisis is a female-fronted, high-energy melodic metal group based out of Iowa City, Iowa. Since its conception in the fall of 2006, founding members Jonathan Finney, Edward Bonnett, Wes Smith, and Josh Starr have worked towards their common goal of fusing rhythm, melody, structure, intensity and technical skill to build songs that provide a sense of both beauty and brutality for listeners. The more recent addition of Tasha Hoffman on lead vocals provides a new and unique element to the band, bringing them closer still towards their musical goals. Determined to deliver their music to the world, Identity Crisis will continue their efforts to write interesting melodic metal, and deliver energetic live performances.
