Fast, energetic ska-punk... for those who like to get wasted and dance around like a twat... pretty much sums it up.
Why this name?
well, for our first gig we didn't have a name but it didn't matter as it was only a party for friends. However when we decided to do more gigs/get a myspace/ promotional shite we needed a name. I suggested 'Press start' but some scene kids had already taken it... so we settled for Press To Continue :P
Do you play live?
Yeah, our last gig was at rhythms of the world, wher we actullay had quite a nice big stage to play on :D Mostly anywhere in Hertfordshire really. Do i like it? what kinda stupid question is that... Ofc we do! it's probably the main reason we do this to see people enjoying what we have created whilst jumping around like a maniac is just the best feeling!
Special moments? hmmm... RoTW, Joe randomly having a panic attack on stage one night :S Tim jumping off a table and accidently kneeing a friend in the face whilst fracturing his own knee XD Having minimal damage sing with us on our last song at a Tavern gig whilst people skanking around us hahaha, yeah, there's a few 'special' moments XD

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I love sitting down at the computer and just searching around on myspace for new bands... When you find a great band it's like you've struck gold! that was never possible before. The access to new music is so the best thing that's happened to the music industry! Just remember, when you buy a CD SOME of that money goes to the bands, thus allowing them to live by playing music, thus more music for us. Yeah sure the big coorperate nazis get most of the money so i'm all for DIY and INDY labels!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Erm, dunno... depends what the contract says i suppose :P
Band History:
Press To continue was originally formed to play only one gig, a garden party for a friend... So we got together, learned as many covers as we could cram into our brains in the few practises that we had and played the gig. It was a f***ing triumph and personal to me (tom, guitarist) as it was my first ever gig! So... we decided to make it into a bigger thing. One year, a completely original setlist, 2 extra members and a festival gig later, here we present to you the shiny, ska-tastic PTC that can be seen today! Enjoy!
p.s. did i really just say ska-tastic?
