J.Troup...Nasti producer outta the Nasti Nati!! (Cincinnati, OH). I'm sick of sped up soul, sick of all this sampling, sick of Neptunes/Timbaland knock-offs, and sick of booty shakin, sing songy azz songs with no musical substance. Strictly original. Industry, prepare to step up your game!

The freebie trax are gone. Now it's time 2 get paid...

Why this name?
real name, no gimmicks...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3 is revolutionizing an industry that has been raping artists for decades. It gives us new options in music production, distribution and marketing and sales. Record labels are scared to death, because the internet and mp3's equals artists rights, and the death of the major label system as it currently exists...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As a producer, sure I would sign a short term production deal. This way, I don't get locked into a long term contract with one label that can shelve me and prevent me from making money on the outside for the duration of the contract, but yet drop me whenever they feel like it. So yes, if the terms were to my liking.
