WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF AN OUTCAST...
Why this name?
A while back when I was younger I hot into some trouble with the law and had to a little probation. Sometimes when I got A paper or something regarding my foster home and things like that my name would show "A. Lee" instead of writing out my full name. So I took it and made "A.LEE-N" ... plus it describes my personality very well, I am an outcast
Band History:
My track record with people has not been the best... when I was growing up as little kid I usually just played outside by myself because the other kids would leave when they saw me come outside or the throw rocks at me and crap like that... Even some of the adults would talk about me, you could see them and hear them down the hall of the apartment complex talking about what i was wearing and crap like that... And that type of life Kind of stuck with me when I was growing up in high school, I wasn't into the type of things everyone else was.. I wasn't trying to be at parties, clubs, and wasn't trying to dress all fly and "fresh to death"..it just wasn't me. I was more practical with everything, more focused on life... everyone hated me for...almost like, instead of letting me be me, they were pissed of because I wasn't like them or something. They made my life a living hell. But I still refused to conform... i just took that and used it for my raps... you can definitely hear the difference in my music. I'm not a gangsta, hustler or fly guy. I don't really get into that scene or really agree with it, not that the genre itself is bad, I like that kind of music, but it became so over used that it started becoming more of a prerequisite than a style. Almost to say "if your not super fly or extra hard, you obviously dont have a story to tell. Yo man, by all means do you, but theres other people out there that have other stories to tell, dont discount them.... Me and my crew "The Hooligan Mobb" have been trying to prove that, moving around from studio to studio, from indie label to indie label dealing with con artist after con artist, just trying to get our foot in the door
Your influences?
old school hip-hop... I'm into the soulful rap and rap with a story or point. Nas, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, Little Brother and Eminem
