I'm just impacted by things happening or what has happened, a band would be nice, actually sometimes there is a band, but usually when stuff is recorded its just lahavine doing his best.

my last name is levine and when I was young some kids called me lahavine

Do you play live?

I played the yippie museum and the bowery poetry club a few times. It would be nice to play other places. All moments are special when I don't f*** up, but actually I guess that could be special too.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

as I see it there is no music industry anymore, the internet allows an idiot like me to put myself forward.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I'd have to seriously think about it.

Your influences?

I listened to a lot of things but I guess a lot of things hit me hard when I was a kid to a teenager to a young person in college going from the 60's into the 80's and I guess it was a lot of rock and pop that I thought I was capable of imitating to some extent, but I always had a great appreciation of almost every genre of music.

anywhere kind of mellow and quiet
