It is pretty much me, myself, and I with a little help from my technology. About eight years ago I realized that I could make music I enjoy listening to using my PC and budget recording equipment. Now I can't quit.
Why this name?
I recall thinking of Hillsong, a major influence, and my name, and it all just "came together."
Do you play live?
I do play life in the Peoria area with my "Willsongs Unplugged--Well Almost" concerts. I use looping and play along with tracks that I record myself. Mostly original with a few copies.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Radically, but I am still trying to get a handle on it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, why not? But I am not waiting by the phone either.
Your influences?
Hillsong Australia, Led Zeppelin, Phil Keaggy, Yes, Rush, etc...
Favorite spot?
Harney Peak in the Black Hills
