play hi-fi  Anthem
Slurred is a (deservedly) little-known English rock band. Although 'derivative', 'untalented' and 'sloppy' are the adjectives most commonly associated with their work, few would doubt that, in a very real sense, they exist.
Why this name?
Slurred was derived as a tribute to the greatest glam-rock band (Slade) and to the things said about our band and to the effects on our speech when we've had a few drinks.
Do you play live?
Mostly around Surrey and South London. We play regularly in Croydon and are 'big in Woodmansterne'.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows small bands to get their music heard without having to sign a record contract.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No thanks.
Band History:
Andrew Walker is seen on stage as a riot of hair, shoes and tasteless clothing. As the frontman he is the main focal point for the abuse and missiles that are often a feature of their public appearances. He inhabits an upmarket part of Kent where he is often seen staggering around, swearing incoherantly and bringing down property prices.

Peter Bartram is the bass player with the penchent for ridiculous stage gear (check out the famous dalek outfit). Pete is very much the driving force behind the band - in that he does most of the driving. A cheery grin and a tasteless joke are the public facade for a man who delights in taunting small furry animals and empathising with the local flora.

Colin Bartram is the drummer and backing vocalist. Visually he registers as a stupid hat and the occasional flying drumstick. He took up drumming as an easier alternative to music, and a great way of annoying the neighbours. A couch potato of the highest order, he has been known to go for several weeks at a time communicating via the occasional grunt and phrases ending in 'off'.

Ian Herald is the lead guitarist and relative new boy. He is proud to have recently added lycanthropy to his ever expanding rosta of exotic diseases. Misguided efforts to incorporate the shape-shifting routine into the stage act, though, went tragically wrong when he ate the backing singers.
