Artistically, I am primarily a guitarist and songwriter. I am currently involved with a live garage band, but since we have yet to perfect our craft and record music I am here as a solo artist for now. I have written about 14 original songs having recorded 12 of them. One of the songs I have in my repertoire was cowritten with a songwriter based in Delaware, Brian Bunnel. We collaborated through a site called Quarterlife.com. He provided the lyrics while I supplied the music. I am currently on several profiles online. I believe that the more exposure I get the more chances I have for my music to make it. And in the off chance it doesn't happen, I can always fall back on songwriting and be a ghostwriter for other musicians who have the power to break through in the music industry. However, since I believe that my mind is a powerfully positive tool I believe in myself as others do believe in me that I can make it. "Determination, Ambition, Tenacity, and Effort are my only options. Failure never made the list" - Franchi$e
Why this name?
In 2002, I started working at Nordstroms in Arcadia. I built up a solid rapport among my coworkers in several departments. One department in particular, Women's shoes, there was a amiable coworker who said my name reminded him of Dem Franchi$e Boyz and sure enough the name caught on. Soon the whole store knew me as Franchi$e :) As I started writing more songs and performing since then I have come to refer to my music as Franchi$e Music. Who knows maybe the name will catch on as a genre itself. LOL!
Do you play live?
Yes. All my shows I have done so far have been acoustic sets. My first show was in Hollywood at a little spot called The Pig N Whistle. I have also played a few times at the Friar Tucks Bar in Pomona, a sushi/sportsbar restaurant in City of Industry, and Iguana's Bar and Grill in Pico Rivera. My first show at that iconic restaurant was a pretty memorable moment. My true friends showed up and supported and I felt a bit special being in a room that entertained many high profile actors/actresses and musicians in its heyday.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It brings the unknown/underground artist to the music enthusiasts front door giving an artist like me to be known and appreciated for my talent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. If the money was lucrative and the creative freedom was available.
Band History:
Franchi$e Music, entertaining you since 2002. My first song was written in San Diego. Although I had forgotten the melody and chord progression I found the lyrics scrawled on a notebook when I moved back to Los Angeles. I wrote new chords and a different melody and it sounds even better than it would have been. Since then I have been writing off and on or whenever inspiration hits.

Pink Floyd,Led Zeppelin, the Beatles,Jack Johnson,Crosby Stills and Nash,Elliot Smith,Jim Croce and The Doors are just a few influences and musical favorites that rattle my brain and summon serenity.
