Treeze has been nothing short of affable R & B singer phenomenon for over a decade. His masterful fusion writing and singing has garnered him a class collection of songs than any other upcoming artist in Nigeria as he esterblished himself to be a recognized star. He use to love reggea and rap music, listening to artists like Musical youth, Kriss-kross and naughty by nature during his childhood days. He also grew fond of the plantatoin boiz, a Nigerian R&B group back then. As time advanced, he was caught by the love of R&B blended with hip hop, feeling artists like R. Kelly, Usher, Tyrese, Ne-yo. The deepness in the lyrics of these artists surely influenced him in expressing the insight of his lyrical skill, noticeable in DARJI MI -Forgive me which so many people think is lyrically related to Usher's BURN. He also came out with another single, MEMORIES -Otutu mumi which was also discribed as touchy as Tyrese's HOW YOU GONNA ACT LIKE THAT. But the truth is, apart from the fact that these R&B crooners has influenced Treeze, his style stands out original and creative with the application of ethnic flavour. His versatility can not also be ignored when tracks like WADAMO is heard.
