Why this name?
I chose to use my own name because people have often told me "it's a cool name."
Do you play live?
Not at the moment. If it came up for me to play live I would consider it though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has leveled the playing field making it possible for a virtual unknown to make it big.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would consider it but can't say for sure until it happens.
Band History:
When I was around 5 or so I discovered that I could play the piano by ear. I would hear a song and then pick out the notes on the piano. In my teens I started doing this with my mom's classical guitar. From there I bought my first synthesizer, lead guitar, and bass guitar. My first recording experiences were "bouncing tracks" between two tape recorders and I had a blast doing that.

Now I'm able to record with a really nice Tascam digital multi-track recorder, as well as do all sorts of editing on my computer. As far as keyboards go I'm using a Yamaha Tyros 2 as my favorite one, and a Roland SH-201. I recently had a Korg Triton 61 and will most likely get one again because I already miss it. I also use Sample Tank 2.2, Prophet V (software), and some other cool programs.
Your influences?
I have always felt inspired while watching movies. The sound systems are so awesome that I usually leave a theater feeling very pumped up. After seeing "The Matrix" for the first time, I wanted to immediately see it again because the music just blew my mind. But now I basically am into ethereal ambient music. I love keyboards and use them more than anything else.
Favorite spot?
San Diego, CA.
Equipment used:
Yamaha, Roland, Tascam, and several computer based sound products.
