I started this page to give my brother, Joel, and myself an outlet for our songs.
It will now evolve into more of an archive of as many tunes from my "career" as I can rescue, and upload. This will include several tunes from the seventies, and eighties which would otherwise have been lost forever.
Stay tuned for these and newer tunes soon!
Two friends lent their talents on: "Are we Ever...", and "Our Place in the Stars". These were Nils Primgaard (original recording of the two songs, as well as Drums), and Jim Post (extraordinary feeling for musical parts, as well as the Bassist).
It would be nice to relearn these tunes, once there are enough of them, for playing live...we'll see.
These songs are what they are. Some of them are more polished in some areas, and some will just evolve into full-fledged tunes at their own speed.
That's the fun of it. You get to create, produce, and work on tunes continually, with a nice home base for them to reside at, that can easily be shared with others.

Why this name?
I like the double-meaning of the word August, and the actual thought of using the two words together came about, for me, several years ago, when I started writing 12-String guitar songs.
Do you play live?
Not yet
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens up a closed world...one that I fled from years ago.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Everything is possible.
Your influences?
The Beatles, Early "art rock" bands, like early Genesis, Anthony Phillips, Yes, E. L. P., Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Rush, etc.
I also like some of the hard rock era...such as Foghat, and Jimi H.
