Why this name?
While I was a DJ in high school, a buddy and I were hired to DJ at a party for the NAACP youth council. My Dad thought it was so much of a big deal that he said I needed to create a contract. So I did. When he asked what I should call the company I told him without any hesitation... Blendable Beats Productions.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has allowed people to conduct business more efficiently across the globe. An artist can bring their products straight to the listeners. Now music listeners can sincerely choose the next big thing or just enjoy their favorite artist's collection without leaving home (in most cases).
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would definitely sign with a major label if it made sense for me to do so and if the terms and conditions were fair and transparent.
