Yes, music should belong to peoples, it can't be only product. Music is part of humanity, you can hear anger, love, hate, sadness, joy, anything what human-kind can feel. It's human culture. Of course, record companies make it sound pretty good, and help bands to get gigs, promote bands, etc. They should get their money for they job, but it's great that you can get lot good music from the net, legal music, you know, this page, MySpace, etc.
