No filler, just real authentiq hip hop

For better, because it allows easy access to good, underground artists, so you're not limited to what's on the radio or on the shelves of Sam Goody.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No--industry record company rule #4080, record companies are shady!
What most most people don't understand, is that a major record deal is usually a rip off...especially if it's the artist's first one. Boycott the major labels, support independent music, and take back the music industry!

Band History:
Student of all things audio since 2003, when I started mixing samples on Acid Pro. Learned FL Studio and started composing. Took guitar classes for 2 semesters, through which I learned basic music theory. Took basic and intermediate digital music/synthesizer course in 2005. Acquired first MIDI keyboard, and learned Reason, Digital Performer, Cubase, and other programs. Started spreading the word of Authentiq and collaborating with a few local artists. Since then I've been building a studio and honing my skills as a producer, DJ, and engineer.

Hip hop and reggae. DJ Premier, J Dilla, Madlib, Doom, Hieroglyphics, Del, EPMD, Peanut Butter Wolf, Pete Rock, Rza and Wu-tang, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Dr. Dre and N.W.A, 2pac, Biggie, Prince Paul and De La Sol, Dan the Automator, Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique, KRS One, Public Enemy, Afu Ra, Atheletic Mic League, Prince Paul, Percee P, Lootpack, The Roots, Edan, Bob Marley, Sly & Robbie, U-Roy, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Mad Professor, Augustus Pablo, Mighty Diamonds, Midnite, Israel Vibration, Eek-a-mouse, Elephantman.
Favorite spot?
My own town, the whole Bay Area, all of Northern California.

Hardware: Technics 1210, Traktor Scratch Pro + Audio 8 DJ interface, Akai MPD32, KRK Rokit 8 monitors, MIDI Keyboards, Condenser Mic, Tascam audio interface, vocal chords, guitar, bass, anything I can find that makes a clean sound.
Software: Cubase 5, Reason 4, Recycle 2, Traktor Scratch Pro + other Native Instruments programs, FL Studio 8, Digital Performer, Acid, Sonar, Kinetic, Sound Forge, GigaStudio, BFD, hella VSTs, CD/DVD Architect, iTunes.
