The Markleys is a 3 man L.A. band composed of Gary (Lead singer) Jeremy (Keyboards and Bass) and Melvin (Lead Guitar). We all write and compose our own songs and have recorded music and performed live for more than 10 years.

Why this name?
Our name was chosen in respect to a relative who was a lifelong close friend and companion to Gary our lead singer. His cousin passed away in the late 90's named Mark Lee (i.e. Markley) Carney.
Do you play live?
We've played live mostly in L.A. but recently have been busy with work and family.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It rapidly speeds up contacts and promotions...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes we would....

We started out in High School and have progressed in our style and writing abilities.....
Your influences?
John Lennon (of course!), Jimi Hendrix, Oasis, Manfred Mann, ELO, Elvis, The Smiths, etc....

England
