Bam's career began in 2000 when she released her first album "Ghetto Fabulistic" with the hit single "Black, yellow and blue diamonds" Since then, she has produced several hit groups: The Movement, Well Respected ENT, YPC, Forecast, herself, and more... Bam Bean is originally from Los Angeles, California. She was born in the early morning August 10, 1986. She has a long entertainment background beginning when she was only 8 years old dancing with the Lula Washington Dance Company, from the age of 12 she was involved with drum and piano lessons. Around the age of 14, she started composing poetry and spoken word and it blossomed into a true passion of hers. As that passion developed she grew to love music. By listening to artists like Dr. DRE, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Bad Azz, master P, Killa Tay, Luni Coleone, 2 PAC her poetry turned into songs. Her first year in High School she took a production class at Central High school. The first beat she composed was played for the class, and all the students were in awe at her skills, and abilities to make such a unique sound. Bam kept on perfecting her craft and began to attend a creative arts school. Her Production skills were helped along by her teacher Booka B. She was taught how to engineer, and that has helped her to perfect her mixing and mastering skills. She engineered her first album when she was only 16 years old. While attending Creative Arts school, she produced tracks for herself, Batman, Nick, and other artists in school. Bam Bean has accomplished a lot in her music career. She has transformed herself into "Futuristic shorty" She is known for her music! She is an all in one artist, engineer, producer, and lyricist.
