It's a song of hope, for all those who don't realize their worth. We're all stars... but sometimes as we fall, we forget who we are. But God sees through the dirt that stuck to us as we fell, to the star that we are...
It's a song about how we try and try to reach God, and seem to get nowhere; but God sees us, even in a crowd, and he singles us out, each of us, for a great destiny, at the right time. For me, when I realized it, that's why I wrote the song - Chosen.
