Constantly evolving, the group has brought in a male drummer, giving the former all-girl rock band a new twist. In a field dominated by male musicians, She Eats Planets remains a force to be reckoned with, now more than ever after bringing a male musician into the fold. They play nice until they're underestimated; then they have no choice but to rock hard, kicking ass and taking names. She Eats Planets is the second-coming of Connecticut's all-girl band The MinoriChicks. The band had experienced localized success, first gaining their "stage legs" as a cover band before starting the process of writing original songs. The band's line-up changed during the quest for a new guitarist and soon, the players weren't the only change for The MinoriChicks. They adopted a new name to reflect their new attitude and She Eats Planets was born. In late 2007, She Eats Planets found themselves in need of a new guitarist. After many searches and their drummer making the switch to rhythm guitar, a new drummer was added to the line-up. Now nothing was holding the band back from song writing. She Eats Planets is constantly working on new songs and perfecting their completed works. They can't wait to bring these to their anxiously waiting fans and to introduce them to the masses.
