Los Angeles, CA – Grit and gristle and big rock melodies come alive in the music of Loud Angel, who has announced that a new CD of that music is on the way. Feisty energy tangles with a big vodka-soaked vibe of raucous hard rock classics, welcoming listeners to a world where you play as hard as you can before you finally crash (right before the sun comes up, after a long night of partying, no doubt).
The single, “Bastard,” from the forthcoming “Demons in the Dark,” is a case of undiluted old-school rock muscle. Dirty guitar lines, tough-and-sexy vocals dipped in attitude, a sense of rambunctious (grown-up) fun and the pure desire to jam out and go crazy – those are blast-to-the-senses ingredients of Loud Angel’s rock-n-roll world.
Johnny Johnny Metal started the act in 1990. Loud angel began by performing cover songs, but before too long, the creative bug proved unsatisfied with merely offering renditions of other artists’ music, so Loud Angel became an all-original band.
Following the dissolution of the original Loud Angel line-up, Johnny was bound and determined to reassemble the band and continue forward. From that dream and desire sprang the new and improved Loud Angel: Johnny Metal, lead guitar; Wendy Metal, lead vocals; mad Man Gene, bass guitar; and Mike Chopper, drums.
“Together this band is determined to take it to the limit,” the Metals and company declare. The next step in Loud Angel’s conquest is more gigging, hopefully leading up to an expansive tour.
Already in the band’s history: Loud Angel emerged victorious the Harley Davidson Battle of the Bands. Johnny Metal has been featured in Guitar Player magazine. Most recently, he appeared in The Brevard Live magazine. Loud Angel has also received praise in newsprint.
Loud Angel is currently working with A&R Select, the premier A&R firm based out of Los Angeles, CA.
