Why this name?
Coffee houses are places where people can go to interact and fellowship on a higher level than just going to the average club or rave. We wanted this compilation to be reflective of that same mood and attitude: Relaxed, Interactive and Inspirational. Thus, The Coffee House Series.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and mp3 allow artists more freedom and control over their music. We think it is a valuable tool when used responsibley.
Your influences?
The Coffee House Series is acoustical, neo-soul, soul-hop and praise & worship. You may hear a bit of Joanie Mitchell or Brand New Heavies, or you may hear some A Tribe Called Quest or Jill Scott. These are just some examples of the influences that went into this project. We are sure you may hear many, many more . . . .
