Why this name?
It's my name. Well, most of it.
Do you play live?
Nope! I am studio only and plan on staying that way for quite a while.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet is a great tool in finding music specially fitted to your own needs. It may not always be as easy as you like, but you can find some very nice finds with just a few clicks around the web. It also is a great way for musicians to get their music out to more than just a local crowd! As for the mp3, audiophiles hate it, but I like it. It's true, I can hear the difference in quality of an mp3 compared to a lossless file. I remain with the mp3 for ease of use.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the terms and conditions. It's a possibility, but I would probably decline and rather sign with an independent label. Not because of the elitist mainstream hate, but because I personally would feel more comfortable with something not as big.
Band History:
No history, just a fan of classic electronic music trying to create his own in a modern time.
Your influences?
I usually pick out sounds or styles I like in most of the music I hear. The artists with the biggest impact on me though are Jean Michel Jarre, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Gary Numan, and Frank Klepacki.
Favorite spot?
My work room.
Equipment used:
Alesis Andromeda, Korg DSS-1, Korg DDD-1, Roland Juno-6, Roland D-50, Yamaha CP-35, Yamaha PSS-560, and various hardware/software effects all recorded onto a PC or sometimes cassette.
