We ckose our band name because during development we couldn't really fit in to any specific market so we just recognized us for who we are. We are just Plain Jane's.

Dawn “Superwomyn” Kent born and raised in Los Angeles County, California and Raquel “Unhooked” Johnson born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida began working together in 2000. After years of aspiring in different directions, Superwomyn as a producer and Unhooked as a solo artist, they began experimenting in 2006 and created a genuine, unique and authentic sound.
