I am a songwritter/muscian/performer who basically writes and record's my own songs.
Music
This song is about getting rid of the blues by moving to the desert and getting out of the city.
After being away from home, it's time to put the Petal To The Metal and get back home.
The blues never last for just one day, once you've got the blues it is hard to shake.
Refinery Turnarounds mean working long hours and there is a lot of travel involved in going from one refinery to another. So a person can miss out on the important things in life, it's as if life passes you by.
Have you ever been down? I mean really down, and you would like to end it all, I've been there.
Working away from home is what many men do.
The Blues is indigenous to the South but it's every where anymore.
This song is about women who can drink men 'under the table'.
It' hard to get away from playing the blues.
This song is about waking up with the blues and singing the blues every night.
This song is about the blues muscians who left the Mississippi Delta to play and record in the big city. This left the hot humid delta quite and devoid of their wonderful sound.
This song is about being on the road, I think the only people that have been on the road more than me are truckers.
This song is about what happened to me when I took a girl out for a nice evening.
Life sucks sometimes, I know from experience.
Having the blues makes a person do all the wrong things.
I originally wrote this song with Chris Issac in mind, I thought he needed to continue that 'Wicked Game' type sound he had. I could not find a way to get this song to him.
Watch out! Women will take everything you've got, and drive off in your Sports Car.
Women can drive you Stone Crazy.
About the evening hours in Indonesia looking at the moon over the water, I tryed to create a feeling or mood.
A song to remind me of the way Indigenous American Indians were removed from their homes.
This is the sadest song I ever wrote and it's an instrumental, get out the tissue's.
Push the throttle down, this train is leaving the station.
Hold on, this guitar is moving on.

Hi James - thanks for having a listen, and yes I record all audio with the BR1600 although I also use a midi recorder for some of the keyboard parts.
Listening to "Down And Out" as I type. I LOVE the blues and you nail it. Keep em coming.
All the best
