Band History:
Who Is Rmisery?
Rmisery is a straight ahead Metal Band based in Palmetto Florida.
Kirk Alan - Bass / Lead Vocals, originally from Buffalo, NY.
Chris Earl - Guitar, originally from San Jose, CA.
James Arnold - Guitar, originally from Memphis, TN.
Craig Holt - Drums, originally from San Antonio, TX.
How Did We Get To Be Rmisery?
Kirk and Craig have know each other as musicians since 1997, jamming out originals with a few metal covers. After experiencing a few guitar player line up changes, band name changes, and musical writing changes, Kirk and Craig needed to find the right guitarist to take this band where they wanted it to go. "We always wanted to be a Metal Band, but struggled in finding that person who fit in, and had the drive to complete this lineup." Then in June 2004, we met Chris Earl at an open jam session on a friday night in Sarasota, and invited him to one of our rehearsals to check out what we were doing. We jammed once, and asked him to join, he immediately accepted. We got to work right away on getting the set list down while writing new material as well. Our first live performance with Chris was in August 2004 at Boomerz Boiler Room in Seminole Florida.
In October 2006, James Arnold, who was playing for Ending At Hand and Needlework at the time, was asked to join Rmisery. He accepted the position as our 2nd Lead Guitarist. He then made his debut performance at Gallery Billiards on January 20, 2007 in front of nealy 250 Metal Fans, which was hosted by Mistress Juliya, formally of Fuse Uranium.
To date, Rmisery has self produced 3 full length demo CD's, and celebrated the release at Gallery Billiards, Sarasota FL on May 26th, 2007.
"Closer To Insanity" ( 2003) , "Our Misery Prevails" ( 2005). "Time Of Death" (2007).
Rmisery had the privilege to open up for Iron Maiden's long time Drummer, Nicko McBrain / McBrain Damage at Boomerz Boiler Room in Seminole Florida, December 2005, and Stuck Mojo at Rockerfellas in May 2006.

We tend to view our music the same way we view life; straight up and right to the point, no holding back !!! Our lyrics are deep and meaningful to us; no nonsense style with all out energy. Our fans believe in us and our style of Metal, which makes us work that much harder to bring to them what they came for. This band is always looking forward, trying to create the best music possible for us, while improving our live performances as well, gaining one fan at a time.
