Hi, I'm Andy “Jamil” Rodríguez I was born in the state of Massachusetts in 1991. From early age I ambitioned to become a music artist and with the passing of the years along with the birth of the reggaeton began to compose my first songs. In the summer of 2007 I compose a song for the compilation release title “La Cura”. The song became the most popular among the album (Amiga). I am an all around music professional and have proven to be versatil with songs in Bachata and Reggaeton. My music is of a romantic touch with plenty of rhythm tracks and to top it off you get my melodious voice appealing to both the romantic at heart and the club dancer crowd. Throughout my young career I have develop to become a respected artist among the public because of my humble personality, outgoing character, and admirable talent. Currently I am working on a mixtape "La Diskotek" to further my career and upscale my talent into an entire new level. So I hope you enjoy my music and also let me know what you think of my music ok..... chekeamos!
Why this name?
My artist name is "Andy Jamil" this name comes from my real name Andy Jamil Rodriguez. I choosed this name because a lot people called me from my middle name so I stuck with the name.
Do you play live?
Yes, I really like to play live especially in front of a large audience. Its a very exciting experience when you perform in front a lot of people its an undescribable feeling. I like to get the people pumped and ready to dance whether its reggaeton or bachata. I make the crowd forget about there problems and make them have a good time, no matter how old they are. The best moment performing was my very 1st performance at my friends quinceanero. Another time was Performing at the I-X Center, i really enjoyed performaning there hopefully I'll perform there again soon.
