Hey there. As you've gathered by now, my name is ethos. I am a white hip hop emcee from michigan. My lyrics focus on social, personal and political issues a lot and I try to make my listeners conscious of these things as well.
Why this name?
Ethos is my name because everybody complained when I said I wanted to change it. It's as simple as that. Well, okay, I guess it's kind of grown on me too...
Do you play live?
I wussed out for the talent show (ha!). Actually, I found out that I would be required to go to rehearsals, and my seniorosis kicked in hard core and said "there will be other shows." I can't wait for these other shows. Really.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I would not exist without the internet, mp3's and digital music production!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would sign to Shady Records, but nowhere else. (Totally joking... I like to say that i wouldn't sign with a major label, but i don't know if that's really true.)

I started getting into rap (6th grade).
I started rapping (7th, 8th grade).
I said "Ah, forget this crap!" (9th grade).
I said "Well maybe not FORGET it..." (10th grade).
I made Outside of the Normal (11th grade).
I became famous among students at Roseville High(12th grade).

My warm comfortable bed, after a long day of slacktivity.
